Rain, hail, or lightning won't keep this game from continuing. Game two was quite interesting. Many of you should know, ("Tigers hate pepper, they love cinnamon."-Hangover) This was the first Major League baseball game we attended, and of course it had to rain, thunder, lighting, and hail. After four innings of play the game was delayed. During the delay a kid who looked about 12 years old, stormed the field with golf-ball sized hail coming down. He made it to center field jumping up and down before he tried to get away and slipped and was taken off the field. The crowd applauded as he was escorted away. The Tigers came out on top this game with a 10-2 win. During the second inning, Detroit jumped to an early lead with a two-run homerun. The Twins managed to get one run in the 5th inning with a solo homerun, and then scored another in the 7th, but couldn't get anymore. The Tigers offense was on a roll scoring two runs in both the 2nd and 3rd innings. Another run in the 5th on a Tigers double made the score 5-0. Two a piece in the 7th and 8th made it 10-2 giving the Tigers only their fourth win in the last 20 meetings at Target Field in Minneapolis, MN.

I was very thankful to see my Morgan and Grant, and sit by them at the ball game! Next game will be Padres @ Brewers. Leaving early to catch the 12:10pm game!
